Salmon Curried and Roasted

Salmon Curried and Roasted: Indian food generally relies on stovetop cooking, this recipe requires baking the salmon in the oven, although you can cook it on the stovetop as well.
Serves 4-6 people




Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp butter, ghee or oil of your choice
  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 1 tsp turmeric, ground
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, crushed
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
Method:
1)  Preheat oven to 375 F.
2)  Place an aluminum foil over a baking sheet.
3)  Place the salmon over it.
4)  Heat a small skillet over medium to low heat. Add the butter, ghee, or oil to it. Fry the garlic, and add the turmeric, black pepper, cayenne.
5)  Add the heated mixture over the salmon.
6)  Create a tent with the foil over the salmon and place it in the oven.
7)  Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve. Pairs well with – Wonderful on its own or with steamed Basmati rice
